Connections that create value
Leonardo Trulli Resort and Oblong come together for “Ritorni”
Creating connections that can evolve into new opportunities and shared projects is one of the core values that drives the NERO Lifestyle network. The collaboration between Leonardo Trulli Resort and Oblong, both NERO Lifestyle partners, is a tangible example of this: two organizations with distinct identities and areas of expertise come together to create a project where art, hospitality, and the local area engage in a meaningful dialogue.
An immersive experience in the Apulian landscape
Set against the landscape of the Itria Valley, Leonardo Trulli Resort hosts “Ritorni”, a solo exhibition by sculptor Emanuele Giannelli, curated by Oblong. The exhibition was conceived to establish a dialogue between contemporary art, the unique setting of centuries-old trulli, and the Apulian landscape.
Giannelli’s works, characterized by hybrid figures in which the body, architecture, and technology merge, inhabit a setting shaped by stone, olive trees, and the ancestral architecture of the Itria Valley. The result is a deliberate contrast between past and future, tradition and innovation. The resort is therefore not simply the backdrop to the exhibition, but becomes an integral part of the experience. Among dry-stone walls, olive groves, and trulli, the sculptures interact with the landscape, inviting viewers to slow down, pay closer attention, and experience a different relationship with space and nature.
On the one hand, Leonardo Trulli Resort, with its approach to hospitality deeply rooted in the local area; on the other, Oblong, an art gallery and curatorial organization that brings its expertise in contemporary art to the project.
The value of synergies for NERO Lifestyle
It is precisely through the meeting of complementary expertise, perspectives, and worlds that the value of collaboration emerges. For NERO Lifestyle, building a network means going beyond simply belonging to a community: it means creating the conditions for partners to connect, exchange ideas, and identify new opportunities for collaboration. The synergy between Leonardo Trulli Resort and Oblong embodies this philosophy through a tangible project: “Ritorni” thus becomes not only an artistic project, but also an expression of what can happen when like-minded organizations are brought together.
