Italia Polo Challenge 2026 in Courmayeur: a challenge of adrenaline and elegance
After a highly successful first edition, the Italia Polo Challenge returned to Courmayeur from January 7 to 10 with an even more exciting second edition, organized in collaboration with The Chukker Company. The snow-covered peaks of Mont Blanc provided the backdrop for four days of high-altitude competition, with teams from around the world facing off on a snow field in a 3 vs 3 format designed to highlight technique, speed and the synergy between horse and rider.
The audience witnessed breathtaking heats, where agility, strategy and endurance combined in a unique sporting spectacle, blending elegance and adrenaline in one of the most iconic locations in the Italian Alps. The competition featured teams such as Fieracavalli, Grand Hotel Royal e Golf, Ram, Courmayeur, Schafhof E. and Costa Smeralda, delivering intense matches through to the final stages. The final crowned Fieracavalli, who won the tournament 7-5 against the Grand Hotel Royal e Golf, in a spectacular match dominated by the rivalry between Pato Rattagan and Patrick Maleitzke.
NERO Lifestyle, partner of the event, helped make the experience even more exclusive by offering champagne during the evening and handing out shopper bags with gifts to all participants.
