For the first time in 24 years, the Star World Championship returned to Tuscany, Italy, hosted in the modern port of Marina di Scarlino from September 17th to the 24th. With 100 entries from 25 nations, including multiple World Champions, Star Continental Champions, Bacardi Cup winners, and other famous names, as well as eight teams in the U30 group, the regatta was a resounding success despite the constantly changing wind conditions that reduced the traditional six days to only two.

The regatta was won by the German team Max Kohlhoff and Ole Burzinski, while the silver medal went to the Swiss team Piet Eckert and Frederico Melo. In third place were the Italians Diego Negri and Alessandro Sodano. All of them were awarded a bottle of our precious cuvée, and all attending teams received a gift bag containing the NERO Lifestyle magazine and a 200€ gift card to be spent on hotels from our collection.

The prize-giving ceremony on Sunday also featured an aperitif with NERO Lifestyle Champagne.
